They measure 15cm in height and 7. 5cm in width. One is signed on the back by the artist, Miniature Oil Painting Coal Tits Nov 1965 A Tait. The other is signed Miniature Oil Painting Long Tailed Tits Nov 1965 A. Tait. They are both in great condition. It measures 3 inches in length and 2 1/4 inches in width

One has velvet on the top but the velvet is missing from the other

This is a gorgeous original antique art deco penwork jewelry or trinket box from the 1920's or possibly earlier
